I found the same customer service attitude at Warmoth - the body and neck I bought were sub-par and they screwed up on the shipping. They wanted to hear nothing about whether I was satisfied or not. As to the shipping part I told them if they did not meet my terms and credit me the shipping (as I had not received the parts yet) I would refuse the order, call my credit card, get a refund and have them eat 2 shipping fees and go thru the process of restocking and putting the items back on the web. After a few hours I received an e-mail stating they would credit all of my shipping back.

Marty - can you call your credit card company (hopefully you used that or PayPal) and tell them of the issue - I'm sure they will credit your account.

I had a local ACE Hardware store take an order for some Krylon - they made me pay on the day of the order - no problem. Two weeks went by and I finally stopped by the store because no one contacted me. There was a sign on the door that said the owners have changed the locks and taken possession of the store and its entire inventory due to lack of payments. I immediately called my credit card company - told them of the order and the sign - the credited me back the money - no questions.

Just another reason why I have a VISA Platinum card – yes there are annual fees – but when I buy guitar parts, or anything with it and have an issue they have always taken care of me – no questions. Makes the fees worth it.
