I haven't tried the 65 Deluxe Reverb RI myself, but it sounds like it might be a good choice.

My Blues Deluxe RI can do it without TOO much volume.

The "vintage overdrive" channel on my Vox VR30 sounds great also. Like my old Vox AC30 on full, only with much less volume. Great for smaller clubs!

Sorry, I haven't played too many different amps in the last 30 years or so ...
