i'm big into cormac, read everything of his except "sunset limited". i've read "blood meridian" at least 15 times. i thought NCFOM was pretty good as a movie, tho i liked the novel better. but what i chimed in to say is that "there will be blood" is the most mcarthy-like movie i've seen yet, though mccarthy had nothing to do with it. the pacing, the atmosphere, the tersness and sometimes grotesqueness of the characters...anybody agree with me?
