Then we both owe a big debt of gratitude to Ron Kirn for the great idea.
I bought my socket set from Big Lots for maybe 1.99 so it fits into the cheap tool category.
I buy these bodies off eBay from a seller ( cc2005pd ). He typically sells beautiful pistol grips but sometimes he has bodies for sale.
I bought the poplar 1.5" thick for the FuschiaCaster from him too. He also sells ash bodies. Since the neck pocket and the rest of the bodies are dimensionally perfect, and the price is right....they make good foundations for the sparkles.......and made in the USA by a low volume builder...perfect.
