well I lied - I didn't take pictures as worked progressed.
I started the pickguard project this morning and just finished putting the guitar back together WITH the original pickups.
OMG! what a difference in the sound!! I am thrilled with how this thing sounds now.
The only thing that's strange is that my tone pots no longer seem to have any effect (or very little)
I need to figure that out.
I'll get some pictures... hang on...
