There is no warm air blowing anywhere near the guitars and I do have a whole house humidifier attached to the heating system, as well as a large one-room unit in the music room. It's worked real well for the past few years.

I keep a temp/humidity meter right on the wall with the guitars and it stays around 45% humid and temp stays around 65 degrees.

When I was young and stupid - compared to old and stupid,l I parked my Gibson Acoustic right in front of a baseboard radiator during the winter. My poor daughter was standing nearby when the bridge popped off and she thought she did it, and that I'd get mad at her... poor kid...
