Yeah I have some of the green 3M masking tape in 1/8 and 1/4 in. widths. I decided to use this vinyl pinstriping tape after reading a Dan Erlewine article. It worked well in this application because I just needed to keep the alcohol stain off the edge of the top.
Here's it is in its current condition. I've done some polishing. May do some more while I'm waiting for my Keystone pickups.
