Jack- that work is absolutely top notch. The faux binding looks great. You have the patience that I wish I had for detail and finishing.

The (masking) tape thing is a bit of a hassle, well not a hassle really, but the really good stuff is a bit hard to find, and fairly costly.

This stuff [url="http://www.3m.com/Product/information/Scotch-Fine-Line-Tape.html"]
is the ultimate to work with, especially with opaque colors.

It comes in widths of 1/16 to 3/4 inch and is very thin. I've also used the "pinstripe" tape in cases (more readily available) but it's extra thickness has a tendency to build up paint around the edge. The other thing about the pinstripe tape is the adhesive. It's meant to be a more permanent product, and consequently some glue gets left behind when you pull it off (at least in my experience).

The 3M stuff is available at most auto paint mixer stores. Unfortunately not at Pep Boys, Schucks, Auto Zone, etc.
