I mean what is it supposed to sound like. What range of impedance were they and what tone did that produce, and was/is it even desirable?

I have one being rewound [another thread] and not sure if I want it original.

Sorry for reposting, but am hoping this direction may result in a better chance for the info I so desperately am seeking. ;)
