A 30-year-old, 30-watt Celestion? I bet it sounds great. The ad doesn't say whether it has a medium sized magnet or a heavy magnet. If it's medium it probably sounds like a Greenback; if it's heavy it probably sounds more like a G-12H or a V-30. Either way it's hard to go wrong. And if it works flawlessly, at 30 years old it probably has a nice, smooth sound. It's not a high priced gamble. I'd get it and if it didn't have the tone you could probably sell it for about what you paid for it. I think a low wattage Celestion would sound great in a DR, if the Celestion route is what you're looking for.
