that tele deluxe pickguard can have any empty holes covered up with electrical tape, which shouldn't be noticable unless you're right next to the guitar. you could also use stickers.... take a look at this:
the real problem is that the deluxe pickguard has no slot for your selector switch, so you'd either have to switch to a gibson type and place it in the upper bout or cut a slot into the guard.
