I got an SX Strat and it was so-so. I had some fret issues, but otherwise it was promising. The wood was really resonant and good sounding in mine. I think it's hit and miss with SX guitars. The quality control is very up and down but I have heard from quite a few who have been lucky and prefer theirs to a MIM.
