The Roland and the Vox mini-modelers both rock. I've heard some great sounds coming through that Boss floor modeller (DI to PA) and have the Vox Tonelab SE. I've never heard one of those DI to PA, and play mine late at night with headphones. The biggest issue I have with any of them is the inability to combine effects. The best modeller for this is still the Line6 stuff (pod & spider)
