I would choose lightgauge strings for that model. .012 - .054. I like both Martin´s own strings and D'Addario phosphor bronze.
If you can find John Pearse bronze strings, try them! They are hard to get but I really like them!

My previous Martin was a 000-15. I think those mahogany Martins look awesome. I have D16-GT now.
