Well this is all fenderslash's fault for posting a pic of his '62 Lake Placid Blue Tele "Thin Skin".
I tried a friends double bound "Thin Skin" out and it was awesome. But the Lake Placid Blue really looks right for me.
That color with the plain white guard is Killer

I have to tell you that Wildwood Guitars is a great place to deal with. They
are into getting you in the right instrument and very helpful and friendly.
I hope to do more business with them in the future.
