Very cool, looks your getting there. Most of the hard stuff is done, just paint and assemble. FWIW I like the black guard, but I guess it will also depend on what you do for a finish. How about a vintage Gibson style sunburst?

Well, keep us updated. I still think this is one of the best ideas I've seen in a long time!!!
