New update on this tele.
I was so curious on the date of this tele and sanded out the bridge and neck pup routings. No date, BUT!!!!!!!!
I found Daphne blue under the neck pup. So this tele would have been a rare bird at one time! Daphne blue was a very rare color in the 58-62' tele's.
Sad but true.........I have a great tele, but very little is intact. I've been working on negotiating a deal to get the original neck from the guy who sold it to me. Original slab board neck.
