Just the neck. It wasn't a night and day change but it did improve things a little. I keep that neck pickup really low, and the poles low in the pickup as well. Sounds better that way to me.
I almost forgot to mention that I recently swapped out the bridge pup for a SD 5/2. It sounds good and I'll probably stick with it, but the stock bridge pup sounded good too.
