Personally, I can dial in any level of grit/gain/drive/sparkle between my two dirt pedals. A Bad Monkey and Keeley's modded DS-1. What's funny is I think the Keeley DS-1 has a better sparkle and cleans up much nicer, but of course it can't fake a blues tone like my Monkey!
