I got my '66 DR for $350 about 15 years ago. A kid was selling his dad's old amp. He said there had been a Telecaster, too, but it had been stolen. The amp sounded pretty bad, so I got it cheap. A replaced preamp tube brought it back to life.

My '68 Bandmaster Reverb head was a little over $300 in a pawn shop about five years ago. The reverb tank was missing, but it sounded good. I took it to my tech and about $200 later it's one of the best amps I own.

My non-master ('69 I think) Dual Showman Reverb head I got about ten years ago from someone on line. I think it was $550 and had just been blackfaced and serviced. Another fine old Fender.
