I think the technology iis in it's infant stage. However, in the hands of the right developers I think there is promise to this software. It isn't replacing talent. Sequencers like FL Studio have already done that. Like mentioned in the video, what if you hit one wrong note 3/4 of the way through the song. Normally it would have to be re-done...sometimes from the beginning of the song. Or say you used a particular voicing of a chord and after it was recorded you decided on another voicing...well why record the whole song over for just one chord/note.

I don't think it will ever replace musicians...except those played in dance clubs. Heck, that music doesn't have ONE real instrument in the music...and even the singer lip-sync's in concerts so they can dance instead!
