We're gonna try one more time to cover up those birdseyes.
Masking tape and a silver basecoat.
Then we'll take it out to the
Stripper Dust Application Chamber, spray on some DEFT, and then sprinkle on the Stripper Dust...

let's take off the tape while things are still sticky and shake off the loose stuff.
This is SO MUCH better than yesterday. It was certainly worth the extra time and effort to do it again.
We'll let it dry tonight. Tomorrow it can be cleaned up, and then we can start the clearing process.
About covering up those birdseyes...how many birdseye guitars do you see? How many sparkle guitars do you see? Have I made my point? The rest of the neck has enough of those birdsmarks in it to more than make up for what has been covered.
