I have two solid states I'm happy with. I play mostly clean, mostly Travis picked, type stuff.
I like my Kustom Dual 30rc

Iv'e had it for a few years. 30 watt, It has a really nice clean channel, 10" celestian speaker and real spring reverb. No digital anything. I really like this amp. Just a really dependable good sound.

My other amp is a Fender DynaTouch Princeton 650. 65 watts, 12" Celestion, dsp effects, onboard tuner, and "timbre" or EQ settings (Predates "Amp" modeling). These have been discontinued and replaced with the Fender FM65DSP, which I've tried and don't think (IMO) it's nearly as good as the older Dyna Touch. You can probally get one used. The effects are not great, but they are handy. This amp really shines for Steel Guitar, and it meshes well with my Archtop as well as my Tele (also has Acoustic simulator wich really works good with a Pieazo equiped acoustic). Basically this is my jack of all trades amp.

(FWIW: The newer 65w Fender Solidstate doesn't have a tuner and though it has DSP effects they are way more limited then the DynaTouch)

Anyway, despite what many here will say, there is a lot of really capable Solid state amps out there (that aren't all digital or all modeling). Sometimes for sparkly clean country and steel a solid state does the trick.

Get out and try a few!
