I used to play a MUSIC MAN amp, which sounded much like what you are looking for. It had tubes (6L6s) for the power section, but a solid state preamp. That amp did "sparkly clean" very well. Unfortunatley, mine was destroyed in a fire.
They haven't made them for years, but I think you can still find them.
