Around these parts (Canada), Tim Horton's totally stomped on Dunkin about 15 years ago and now they're relegated mostly to small booths in malls or in towns at a ratio of 1 DD for 10 TimH.
Tim's was around for a long time but their donuts were "dustnuts" then suddenly someone caught on and the were "tasty" (more sugar & grease).
Kristy Kreme opened to HUGE hoopla then the atkins/health craze hit and now at least in Quebec they are usually empty.
Damn, now I want a doughnut (KK) or donut(TH).
If Duncan made Donuts, would "Duncan Antiquities" refer to day old donuts?
