They're made in USA regardless of what you may have heard.
Sure it has some imported parts and subassemblies, but what doesn't?
A Ford Mustang has more imported content than a US built Toyota Camry!
As far as the closeout pricing is concerned-
I'm sure that Gibson has a huge number of these that they have to liquidate in order to continue their merger with TC.
