That's what I like to see. In most cases, threads like this will resolve themselves, and all parties will come to a peaceful resolution.

If threads are being deleted, and the forum's being over-moderated, it will only breed contempt toward mods, and leave differences unresolved.

In my opinion:

If a thread or poster is becoming abusive, by all means delete the posts.

If there's no real abuse, and some people are just being whiners, monitor the situation, and allow it to work itself out.

Just my 2 cents.
