thanks johnny... i'm humbled to be mentioned in the same sencence as jimmy and jesse... when i started playing guitar jimmy's playing was like a breath of fresh air and i remember listening to the radio at night hoping blue hotel would come on... i agree that chris isaak was the voice and jimmy was the sound... i'm emberassed to admit i stole a copy of silvertone at a bar i once played at as a kid...
i know in my 12 year old mind i thought it was justified because the owner was trying to pull us a fast one but being a little more experienced in life i know that an eye for an eye is not the way... BTW, johnny is no slouch himself... the stuff i've heard was dazzling... i always wanted to be able to play country like that but miss the dexterity... tj
