Congrats on this Squier.
These are made in Indonesia at the Cor-tek plant, and are distinguished by their black headstock and mirrored pickguard (which can be saved for appropriate occasions). It is the same weight as most Squier Standard Teles, and I think the bridge pickup ain't too bad. You could install 250K CTS pots, perhaps an Electrosocket. But the first thing I'd replace is the nut.
