Dylan and Hendrix WERE huge celebrities in their day. So was Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Roxy Music, etc... And as anti-establishment as it gets. That's my point.

The Velvet Underground? I don't think so. Maybe inside the factory and certain New York clubs. Roxy Music? Not really. I mean, you wouldn't be stoned to death for calling Roxy Music celebrities, but they weren't "huge" by any stretch of the imagination.
