Keep the memories of your Dad alive, Arlo. I know how hard it has been for you and your family dealing with all of this.
There is a song by Dave Alvin, titled "The Man In The Bed Isn't Me", and it brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it, and at the same time, it gives me comfort somehow. Dave wrote it about his own Father's death, but it could easily have been written about anyone from that generation who has died, ill in their bed.
My own Dad withered away in bed, after suffering a similar fall, which proved to be the end for him. It is a hard thing for any family to go through, and you have my sympathy in this trying time.
