Well for me i dont care for the feel of a really light guitar ..i like around 7 lbs as well it seems to hang better,i think there is a big myth about heavier means more tone lighter means less tone...but for mei like to FEEL the guitars weight sorta pulling down .i just play better ,just play what feels right and what makes you play better...dont buy into the weight buisness
