Probably ya'll seen my other posts in different areas about this tele.
But I purchased it the day after Xmas. Here's the breakdown that I was told and I double checked the story.
I bought it from Dale Allen and he stated it as a 60's body with double parsons/white bender. Must have been refinished in Sunburst and the binding installed at the time. It's ivoroid colored. Has the original top loader and through body Pat Pend bridge with threaded saddles. The biggest lead is that it's nice ash. Most likely not a solid color from the 60's. So I have done my searching on it.
Here's what I found.
- diagonal wire channel route
- nail holes, one by the upper screw hole under pick, back screw hole control plate, and in the truss rod axcess cutout
- original jackcup and bridge(Fender Pat Pend at an angle)
- router hump on the beginning of the cut away
- standard location dowel holes in the back
- a blue color paint in the screw holes of the neck pocket and corners
- Nice ash grain pattern
What are ya'lls opinions on it's originality? Or what it should of or could have been.
