Makes sense to me Mr. B, they're great fun to mod and play with. I've tried pulling a fret a fret before and it certainly wound up looking 'funky', however -

..maybe I'll give it a go with your method Rob. I was probably a little aggressive with the sander last time
I just dont like the look of a 22 fret neck more than anyhting.
