thanks for the help! here's what I actually did...

S1 Diagram

i ran the yellow lead from the neck pickup to the volume pot (S1) in place of the blue lead as indicated in the diagram. I also ran the white from the neck to the 3-way switch and the black to ground on the tone pot.

for the bridge, I ran the yellow to the 3-way switch and the black to ground on the tone pot.

Am I messing something up here?? thanks!
