I think it`s what was sold over here as a Class 5 Les Paul...someone wrote LP5+ in the p`up cavity and the check card also has that written on it...at the time I believe it meant the series had 5 A tops...which sparked a debate as to the classification of figured wood, that it was not universal and different companies have different ways to classify figured wood. I classified this one as gorgeous regardless of how many "A"s one wants to add...or subtract.
First guitar with fret end binding too...and never thought it would make such a difference. I was looking at a bunch of LP double cutaways at the same shop this past summer but they all had very rough, almost unfinished feeling fret ends on em and I was real disappointed...this one doesn`t have that problem.
