wolverine

I've had some fun with that pict for sure. I've had people ask me if wolverine pups were available, and what I fed it, and on and on. I see 4-5 wolverines every summer, a few lynx around the house, and had to run out with mini-14, unload it in the woods behind my dog lot to run wolves off that were trying to eat my sled dogs. Can't wait till we get some new snow to fill in the rough ice on yukon, so I can run up and down river, like to set snares for wolves in the sloughs and on kills.

I just run my dogs on 70 mile runs 3 times a week, racing is expensive and a lifestyle, not a hobby. Done many a run when its minus 55 & whiteout; forever biting the mitten so you can chip the ice off your eyelids; they freeze shut about every 5 minutes. We feed our sled dogs salmon, but my knees are going from all the cold & jarring around; I couldn't imagine running a 1000 miler when its minus 40-50. That's time to sit back, play geetar, watch hockey, and feed the woodstove.
