Cool I was born & raised in the Shreveport area And stil have family there. Not that has any relevance to your question whatsoever...
Shreveport is actually full of good guitar stores and pawn shops. - They also have a Bass Pro Shop and lots of entertainment. Not much help as far as personal references sorry
A quick web search should turn up plenty to get an agenda started - Check craiglist too.....Have fun
