I love this type of blues to say the least. Where can I hear or buy more of EC doing this and are there more guys that play like this. I am illiterate when it comes to the blues, I have never heard some play that I probably should have. I have heard some of B.B. and SRV but most of their stuff I do not like as mucah as this. |
Just ok? Well, he's not the best who ever lived, but he is on a John Mayall and The Blues Breakers album playing very strong stuff. Very powerful knock-yer-sox-off stuff. Not fancy, just terribly terribly bold and fearsome. He's done some good stuff since then (like Crossroads and the solo on White Room and lots of other things), but I love that Blues Breakers album better.
