Heck, I just did some remodeling work for a little old lady who (in addition to paying for the job) gave me a tin of "Danish-style Cookies", made in, yep, China!
It strikes me as insane that cheap sugar cookies had to be shipped halfway around the world because they were a few cents cheaper than something made locally!
