Here are your options:

1. Tune between songs annoying the audience and slowing down the pace of the show. Worst for the audience, cheapest for the guitarist.

2. Have a guitar tech tune another guitar offstage and switch guitars between songs. Better for the audience, very expensive for the guitarist.

3. Get the self-tuning guitar. Best for the audience, in the long run cheaper than a roadie.

I can see what you're saying, but I've played hundreds of shows and I play the guitar HARD. I tune before each set and usually once during the set. The options you set forward have nothing to do with my reality.

The truth is that this guitar is not geared towards professional musicians. It's made for the "I want it now" society.

Tuning the guitar is one of the first things you learn when learning to play the instrument. I think about tuning a guitar now like I think about tying my shoes. I don't. I can do it in my sleep.
