I put a Teisco Gold Foil pickup in the neck of my Tele.
Easy to do as it is surface mounted.
Very sweet sounding when playing clean....but can growl like crazy if you want.
Maybe the ultimate slide pickup.
Ry Cooder and David Lindley don't use this pickup just 'cause it's pretty!?
