Wow, since my last post I received a '75 Guild D35 for my b'day in '06 and I have it on good authority that I'll be getting that DC5E for this Xmas. I believe Guild guitars are one of the best buys around, American made (not counting GAD imported production) and seriously under-valued, at least for the older, pre-Fender guitars. Now I need a 12.
