This Fender Custom Shop Nocaster is 100% brand new. I purchased it about two weeks from a Fender licensed retailer, who had it built by the Custom Shop; I am the first and only owner and the serial number has not yet been registered by anyone. It is truly an amazing guitar but it was an impulse purchase and honestly I need the money for Christmas gifts and rent. It comes with the original case (still with Styrofoam wrapping on the handle), ALL case candy (unused) including cable, ashtray bridge cover, Certificate of Authenticity, owners manual, tool kit, extra set of strings, and the Custom Shop invoice/Shop Floor Traveler which lists the full specs; it even has the original Fender shipping box. It is also quite gorgeous, the pics don't do it justice.
There are absolutely zero issues with it- no scratches or minor blemishes or pickguard wear...it is 100% mint and perfect condition. The only reason it isn't specifically a "51 Nocaster" is that it was ordered with modern (and much more versatile) wiring which allows full use of the neck pickup with tone controls (treble bleed wiring), and that it doesn't have vintage-sized frets, rather it has more playable Sanko 6105s (which are not as tall as normal Dunlop 6105s- they are basically a happy medium between vintage and 6105s) which the Custom Shop typically uses these days. It also has a 7.25" radius that is super comfortable for chording near the nut, that flattens out slightly to a 9.25" radius higher up the fretboard, which makes bending much easier and prevents fretting out; it's a compound radius, also highly recommended by the Custom Shop. It has the amazing, baseball bat thick U-shape neck and gorgeous '51 Nocaster pickups. Feel free to ask any questions you may have- happy to send more pics and share the Floor Traveler invoice with you if you'd like to see.
*PS prior to even receiving the guitar I was planning on having the wiring switched to the blend circuit like the original Nocasters had, and bought some new old stock US-made Allen Bradley 15K resistors, which can be hard to find. I'll throw these in as well, but honestly even if I were keeping this guitar I'd keep it wired modern like it is now, the neck pickup sounds amazing and I'd hate to lose it. The bridge is killer needless to say. PM me for questions, offers etc, and payment is by PayPal. Thanks!!
