2011 NAMM: Couple of Road Worn Telecasters

Also announced before NAMM this year, were the Road Worn Player Telecasters and Stratocasters. Having seen them with our own two eyes, we thought you’d like to see them too.

All in all they are very tastefully reliced and have a combination of features that would make them the kind of guitar that any Tele player could love.

The Road Worn Player Telecaster guitar includes an alder body with a lightly worn lacquer finish, modern ‘C’-shaped maple neck with lightly worn urethane finish, maple fretboard with 9.5′ radius and medium jumbo Frets. Also includes Tex Mex single-coil bridge pickup and Seymour Duncan ’59 humbucking neck pickup, three-way switching, aged knobs and switch tip, three-ply pickguard, Road Worn six-saddle strings-through-body bridge, and deluxe gig bag.

What’s “lightly worn” look like? Here’s the photos evidence:

The MSRP according to Fender is $1,199.99 — or about $850 at most Fender dealers.
